One Legal Expands Philanthropic Commitment, Welcomes Inaugural Executive Director of Corporate Social Responsibility

Linda Kim

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA, October 10, 2018—One Legal, the leading litigation support and court services provider, announced the appointment of Linda Kim as the company’s first ever Executive Director of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Linda is a legal aid lawyer with almost two decades of experience as a leader in the nonprofit sector. Previously, she worked across California to support legal nonprofits in managing their programs and resources to effect change with greater efficiency.

Ms. Kim leads the company’s budding Community Partnership Program and will be developing a comprehensive CSR initiative for the growing legal tech company.

“I’m proud to join One Legal and bring our 30 years of industry leadership to help nonprofits achieve their missions,” said Linda Kim. “Nonprofits are consistently asked to do more with less. I believe One Legal can help nonprofits do more with more.”

With this addition to its team, One Legal strengthens its commitment to responsible leadership in the industry.

“Millions of Americans face legal problems yet are unable to obtain help due to a lack of nonprofit resources,” said Robert DeFilippis, Chief Executive Officer of One Legal. “Technology solutions are more important than ever. It’s time for One Legal to take a leadership role in proactively seeking out ways we can work in partnership with the nonprofit community to support the mission of legal nonprofits fighting for justice. With Linda’s passion and expertise driving this program forward, I am excited to see what impact our community partners can have.”

Comprehensive plans for One Legal’s renewed Community Partnership Program will be launched in late 2018. Visit www.onelegal.com/nonprofits for more information about the program.
