What’s the difference between requesting the removal of case access (“opting out”) and being removed from the service list?

Completing this form means that you will no longer have access to the case in CaseLink. This means that you will not be able to access CaseLink’s case information, case notices, or the case’s document repository. Once removed, you cannot eServe via CaseLink. You will remain on the case’s eService list.

Removal from the eService list means that you will no longer receive any notifications of any kind regarding the case.

*Please note that for Construction Defect cases and Judicial Council Coordinated Proceedings (JCCP) in San Diego, removal from the eService list means that you will not receive notifications from the court as noted in the court’s August 28, 2014, memo.
