Court updates this week
All courts and the One Legal office will be closed Monday, February 15, 2021 in observance of Presidents’ Day.
This week: Courts update operations and tentatively make plans to reintroduce key services.
Contra Costa County
The Court announced a planned reopening for Monday, March 2, 2021 after extending limited court access through February 26, 2021.
Los Angeles County
The LA Court website is down for a major system upgrade from Friday, February 12, 2021 at 6:00 a.m. through Monday, February 15, 2021 at 8:00 a.m.
Madera County
The Court will restore many services on February 16, 2021.
Marin County
The Court has declared February 7, 2021 through March 5, 2021 to be holidays for the purpose of computing time, extended previous Administrative Orders, and authorized judges to extend time periods provided.
Mendocino County
Mandatory eFiling went into effect in Mendocino County on February 8, 2021. Learn more about this court’s eFiling process on the court information page or review the standing order for specific rules and requirements.
Orange County
The Court began to restore some in-person appearances with safety protocols in place.
Placer County
The Court has updated its actions in response to COVID-19, including the resumption of jury trials effective February 16, 2021.
Sacramento County
The Court announced continued re-referral of cases to the trial setting process.
San Diego County
The San Diego Court website will be down for routine maintenance Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
San Joaquin County
The Court has updated its operations plan in regards to court access, appeals hearings, clerks offices, and more.
San Luis Obispo County
The Court is changing its public phone hours due to a decrease in staffing for health and safety measures.
San Mateo County
The Court has suspended all Civil jury trials and LPS trials through March 12, 2021.
Stanislaus County
Clerks’ offices will remain closed through March 5, 2021.
