Dear Customers:
Beginning August 15th, 2007, One Legal will move exclusively to an online ordering system and eliminate our paper work orders. While this may involve some degree of change on your part, we believe you will find that online ordering ultimately offers more convenience and efficiencies.
When we first offered online ordering almost 4 years ago, just a small percentage of our customers adopted it as an alternative to filling out paper work orders. Over time, its popularity grew and today, more than half of our filing transactions and all of our service of process orders are placed through our website.
With the recent introduction of a new and improved ordering system, we are pleased to be able to offer features that are not available through our traditional paper-based system. In addition to providing service in more courts and areas, and offering later deadlines in some instances, customers who submit their orders online can also:
- Track their order status 24/7
- Manage and save their active cases
- Retrieve file-stamped caption pages and proofs of service at their convenience
- Receive confirmation when their order is received, and again, when the order is completed
- Eliminate the need for phone calls – we will send automatic email updates.
- All of this at no extra charge!
While we believe that customers who are currently faxing orders will enjoy the benefits of this system, we recognize that you may have some initial concerns about the continued ability to fax documents to us. Please know that One Legal will continue to accept faxed documents once the initial order is placed online.
