One Legal Service Guarantee

If, for any reason, our service fails to meet your expectations, we will refund the price of your order with the exception of any court fees or witness fees paid on your behalf.

Please note that the following conditions apply for our service guarantee to be in effect for our court filing, process serving, court research and document retrieval services.

Every assignment One Legal receives is subject to a deadline, which can be found in our Service Directory and on our public website (www.onelegal.com). In determining whether an assignment was received by our deadline, we refer to the date/time stamp submission indicated by our systems, or, in the case of a fax submission, the date/time stamp which our systems put on the last page of the documents.

For Assignments Received By Deadline:

One Legal guarantees an attempt to process the assignment by the stated number of business days providing the order is properly prepared and completely received by the published deadline. This guarantee is weather permitting. In areas where same-day service is available, One Legal guarantees a same-day attempt to process the assignment providing the order is properly prepared and completely received by the deadline. For Assignments Received After Deadline:

A properly prepared assignment completely received AFTER the published deadline is handled as follows:

1. If the optional On Demand is requested, assignments are processed on a best-efforts basis, depending on available resources.
2. If accepted and attempted, the On Demand fee will be assessed, whether our attempt is successful or not.
3. There is no guarantee that the assignment will be successfully completed within the timeframe specified.

Court Research and Document Retrieval Assignments

Research assignments will be delivered electronically, typically within five business days. However, due to the varying nature of these assignments, and the courts' ability to process them, we are not able to guarantee an exact completion date.
